CAS have access to full ductwork and general sheet metal manufacturing capabilities, including a welding and paint shop. We can supply all types of ductwork.

DW14 :: Sheet Metal Ductwork
DW/144 is the Standard Specification for ductwork manufacture and installation and is aligned to all current BS, BS EN ISO and other standards and regulations. It defines specifications for sheet metal ductwork for low, medium and high pressure/velocity air systems and covers ductwork application, materials, classification and air leakage. It covers technical information to be provided by system designers to ductwork contractors and looks in detail at rectangular, circular, and flat oval ductwork. It also outlines updated information on hangers and supports, smoke and fire dampers, external ductwork, internal duct linings, thermal insulation and air terminal units.
DW145 :: Installation of Fire and Smoke Dampers
Lays out the basic principles in the design and installation process and identifies the responsibilities of designers, builders, manufacturers, local authorities, mechanical services, ductwork and other specialist contractors. Details processes and protocols that must be addressed when fire and/or smoke dampers are to be installed within a building’s ventilation ductwork system.
DW154 :: Specification for Plastic Ductwork
DW154 details industry standards for the manufacture and installation of plastics ductwork, reflecting advancements in technology and working practices during recent years.
DW172 :: Specification for Kitchen Ventilation Systems
The Specification for Kitchen Ventilation Systems (DW/172), first published in 1999, is generally acknowledged to be the most authoritative specification for the sector in the UK and in many parts of the world.
Includes guidance on pollution control to reflect new thinking on indoor air quality and the level of permissible toxins in breathable air. Covers services like ductwork and grease extract cleaning filter cleaning and replacement, and water treatment.
TR19 :: Internal Cleanliness of Ventilation Systems
Testing and cleaning of air distribution and kitchen extract ventilation systems to meet required standards, with reference to UK and European Standards for cleanliness of air duct systems. Covers best practice for ensuring that kitchen extract ductwork is maintained to minimise the risk of fire associated with grease accumulation.
